KONUTLARDAKİ AHŞAP PENCERELERDE OLUŞAN HASARLARIN TESPİTİ VE İYİLEŞTİRİLMESİNE YÖNELİK ÖNERİLER: İSTANBUL’DAN FENER VE BALAT ÖRNEĞİ

Yapı inşa edilmeye başladığı andan itibaren çevresel etkilerle oluşan bozulmalardan en çok etkilenen yapı elemanlarından biri pencere sistemleridir. Pencerelerde oluşan bozulmalar sadece çerçeve ve saydam yüzeylerle sınırlı kalmayıp duvar boşluğu ile cephe üzerinde birçok yapı fiziği sorununa sebep olmaktadır. Bu sorunlar yapının performansını, dayanımını ve estetik özelliklerini önemli ölçüde etkilemektedir. Çalışmada ahşap pencere sistemlerinde oluşan hasarların tespiti ve iyileştirilmesine yönelik metodoloji geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Fener ve Balat yerleşimlerinde seçilen 7 konuttaki 56 ahşap pencere sistemi üzerinde inceleme yapılmıştır. Pencere sistemlerine etki eden çevresel etkiler, etkilerin oluşturduğu hasar türleri ve hasarların oluştuğu alanlar görsel incelemelerle tespit edilmiştir. Belirlenen hasarların tasarım, uygulama ve kullanım aşamalarının hangisinde oluştuğu konusunda araştırmalar yapıldıktan sonra sistemin performans sürekliliğini sağlamak için bakım önerileri sunulmuştur.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DETERMINATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF DAMAGES ON WOODEN WINDOWS OF HOUSES: THE CASE OF FENER AND BALAT SETTLEMENTS

Windows begin to deteriorate with the environmental effects from the moment they are built. The deterioration of the windows is not merely limited to the frame and glazing but also causes many structural physics problems on the facade. These problems have a significant impact on the performance, strength and aesthetic properties of the buildings. The study aims to develop a methodology for the detection and improvement of damages in wooden windows. Within the scope of the study, the environmental impacts on the windows, the types of deteriorations caused by the effects and the areas where the damages occurred were determined by visual inspection techniques in 56 wooden windows in 7 residences selected in Fener and Balat. As a result of the study, after the occurrences of the identified damages are estimated for the building lifetime as design, construction and occupancy phases, the maintenance suggestions are done to ensure the continuity of the system performance.
