ÖZET Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenliği adaylarının algılarına göre, kendi sınıf yönetimi yeterliklerini belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama modelinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmada Öğretmenin Sınıf Yönetimi Yeterlikleri (ÖSYY) ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara göre, katılımcılar kendi sınıf yönetimi yeterliklerini çok yüksek algılamaktadır. Ölçeğin bir maddesinin ortalaması orta, beş maddesinin ortalaması yüksek, on üç maddesinin ortalaması çok yüksektir. Dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin algıları birinci sınıf öğrencilerinden daha yüksektir. Bu fark, istatiksel açıdan ,05 düzeyinde anlamlıdır. Benzer şekilde, kızların algıları erkeklere göre daha yüksektir. Üniversitelere göre, algılar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık yoktur. Bununla birlikte, Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi öğrencileri, Fırat üniversitesi öğrencilerinden daha yüksek algılara sahiptirler. The purpose of this research is to determine their own classroom management competencies, according to the class teacher candidates` perceptions. The research was designed in the survey model. The scale of Teacher Classroom Management Competencies (TCMC) is used in research. According to the findings, participants perceived their own classroom management competencies very high. The average of one item of scale is medium, average of five items is high and average of thirteen items is very high. Perceptions of the fourth grade students are higher than perceptions of the first-year students. This difference is significant at the level of, 05 in terms of statistics. Similarly, perceptions of girls are higher than boys’. According to the universities, there is no a significant difference between the perceptions.
