Araştırmanın amacı, annelerin postpartum dönemde hastaneden taburculuğa hazır oluşluk durumlarını ve etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Analitik tipteki bu çalışma, İzmir’de bulunan bir doğumevinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sağlıklı yenidoğana sahip olan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden anneler (n=133) örneklemi oluşturmuştur. Veri toplamada, yüz yüze görüşme yapılmış, Anne Tanıtım Formu ve Hastane Taburculuğuna Hazır Oluşluk Ölçeği-Yeni Doğum Yapmış Anne Formu kullanılmıştır. Veri değerlendirmesinde, tanımlayıcı istatistikler, korelasyon, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis ve t testi kullanılmıştır. Annelerin yaş ortalaması 26.24±5.07 olup, %37.6’sı ilkokul mezunu, %88.0’ı ev hanımıdır. Annelerin %92.5’inin taburculuk için kendini hazır hissettiği bulunmuştur. Hastane Taburculuğuna Hazır Oluşluk Ölçeği- Yeni Doğum Yapmış Anne Formu puan ortalaması 172.13±26.94’tür. Hastaneden taburcu olmaya hazır hissetme durumu ve hastanede kalış süresi ortalaması ile ölçek toplam puan ortalaması karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Annelerin, kendilerini taburculuğa hazır hissetme durumlarının ve hastanede geçirilen sürenin artmasının taburculuğa hazır oluşluğu etkilediği belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this study was to determine mothers' readiness situations for hospital discharge in the postpartum period and effective factors. This analytical study was performed in a maternity hospital in İzmir. The sample of the study consisted of the mothers with healthy newborns and accepting to participate in the study (n=133). To collect data, the mothers were interviewed face to face and Mother Introductory Form, Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale–New Mother Form were used. Descriptive statistics, correlation, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and T tests were applied with the aim of evaluating the data. The age average of the mother was 26.24±5.07, 37.6% of them were primary school graduates and 88.0% of them were housewives. It was found that 92.5% of the mothers felt ready for discharge. The point average of Mother Introductory Form, Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale –New Mother Form was 172.13±26.94. Comparing the readiness for hospital discharge and the average duration of stay in the hospital with the total point average of scale, a statistically significant difference was determined (p<0.05). It was detected that as the readiness and the duration of hospital stay of the mother’s increase, the readiness for the hospital discharge was influenced.
